  This restaurant was once unique with specialty offerings.
  They even seemed to be making their chips by hand and had organic items, including the guacamole.
  Their plates had special touches.
  It was amazing food and I told many people about it.
  
  Well, we went just a few weeks ago and I did hear beforehand that it had changed hands. I’m unclear if this was management or ownership.
  
  Everything was different. The menu was different. The waitstaff was strange and almost overly casual.
  The manager was bizarrely friendly and made borderline rude comments out of awkwardness.
  The food was not at all the same quality and was basically just generic food that you could get anywhere..and not very good.
  
  We won’t be back and are disappointed that the original Mesa and it’s food are no more.

  If your looking for great authentic Mexican food, this is not the place. The portions are extremely small and the refried beans look like purple/brown purée. I have 5 children and neither one liked the food. The macaroni that we ordered for our youngest child was nasty as well. We actually left there and went to pick up pizza for the kids because they were still hungry. Definitely will never go back.
